Meet The Cast

Sereniti Nelson
Sereniti is a North Carolina native and multi-talented creative with a passion for acting, singing, dancing, and writing. Since making her acting debut in The Last Tear; Dear God, Where Are You?, she has continued to grow as a performer, with credits including the film The Dark Chocolate Nutcracker. Adding assistant director to her accolades, Sereniti brings heart, creativity, and purpose to every role she takes on. She is currently working on writing her 2nd book.

Naysa Bell
Naysa is a lover of the arts with a passion for singing and dancing that has been evident since she could talk. Her vibrant personality, creativity, and natural ability to perform continue to shine both on and off the stage. She is a native to Charlotte, NC. In Fall 2026, Naysa will begin attending the prestigious Northwest School of the Arts in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she will have the opportunity to further develop her artistic talents throughout her high school journey. She loves music, self-expression, creativity, and bringing joy to those around her.

Brandy Hamilton
Brandy is an artist based in Charlotte, NC. She has shared her gift of song with audiences for many years and is excited to continue to expand her artistry with acting. Brandy was cast as “Nikki” in Body Language Productions’ Looking for Love in “All the Wrong Places” in 2025, “Sandra Lee” in Vickie Evan’s “The Gift” in 2024, “Bonnie” in Jermaine Nakia Lee’s “A Walk In My Shoes” in 2013 and was selected to be a contestant on Season 12 of American Idol in 2012 - showcasing her talent on a national platform.

NaQuisha Bell
NaQuisha is a Metaphysical Psychology Practitioner, energy healer, medicine woman, and transformational guide. Born and raised in New Haven, CT, she later found her tribe and sense of home in Charlotte, NC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and blends spirituality, personal transformation, and storytelling through her healing work and community impact. Through her voice, wisdom, and lived experiences, NaQuisha inspires others toward growth, resilience, self-awareness, and healing.

JQuan Hamilton
A Navy veteran and seasoned content creator, Jquan brings discipline, presence, and natural charisma to everything he does. With years of on-camera experience in digital media and short form video production, he has developed a commanding ability to connect with audiences and tell compelling stories. Now stepping onto the stage, he is ready to channel that same passion and authenticity into the world of live performance.

Harriet Burnette
Born in Whitakers, North Carolina, Harriet is a devoted mother of two sons and proud grandmother of five granddaughters. Her lifelong passion for singing led her to pursue music at Winston-Salem State University before launching Del-Carlos Production Models in 1985, where she has mentored and inspired aspiring models and performers for decades.
Harriet began her acting career in 2013 and has appeared in stage plays, episodes of Fatal Attraction, and films featured on Amazon Prime and Tubi. She also serves as spokesperson for Peace Is Priceless and in-house model for JaCha Trends African Clothing.
An award-winning entertainer and motivational figure, Harriet currently holds the titles of Miss Elite All-American NC and Elite Ms. NC America’s United States 2024–2025. In 2025, she received the ACE Award for Best Supporting Female Actress for her role in BUSTED and Disgusted.

Vickie Fowler
Vickie is a well rounded professional who spends her days as a machinist and her evenings working in the arts. As a creative, Vickie has been involved in theater since high school and has been involved with many community productions. She is thankful to all of her loving family and friends for supporting her endeavors throughout the years.

Gloria Mills
Gloria's journey has been consistent with being a licensed hair stylist, and fashion past model. She has had some skits and speaking gigs. She truly enjoys being bubbly and laughing, as laughter is medicine to my soul. Gloria has always had a deep desire to be involved in entertainment!

Andrew Monroe
Andrew prefers to let the work speak louder than the résumé. Choosing not to be perceived outside of the theatre, he keeps his personal life intentionally private. However, he has authorized the following statement:
Andrew is thrilled to make his debut with BNS Productions and to appear in his first play by August Wilson, stepping into a body of work known for its emotional weight, cultural resonance, and unflinching truth. In this production, he takes on the role of Mister, embracing one of the play’s most dynamic characters with discipline, intention, and respect for the craft.
While he declines to offer traditional biographical details, he does invite audiences into a bit of mystery. Two of the following statements about him are true: he holds a law degree from a top 100 law school; he once worked for NASA as a non-STEM intern; and his very first film job was working in locations for The Fate of the Furious. Which are fact, and which is fiction?

Guary Connelly III
Guary a native o f Winston-Salem, North Carolina currently living in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Connelly attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, after beginning his career in Finance he discovered his interest in acting. Guary has always loved to express himself through the arts by drawing and painting so acting became a new medium through which to display his artistic visions.

Jared Langley
Jared is the definition of persistence, consistency, and resilience. His motto and brand, Grind & Conquer, transcends his personal accomplishments and body of work as an award-nominated and accredited SAG actor, producer, award-winning published author, entrepreneur, and musician into the lives of those around him and those who support him. His ability to use his relatable personal experiences and his relentless ambition to completely transform into another character is the reason why he continues to land roles as an actor on multiple major platforms that feature major films and television series like American Soul on BET, The Staircase on HBO Max, Fatal Attraction on TV One, MIKE on Hulu, and more. His awe-inspiring story of conquering his battle with severe depression is depicted in his book series, “Crying Out in the Dark”, which offers hope and healing to all who read it. He has dedicated his life to using his gifts, talents, and lessons to lead by example, encourage, teach, and entertain others so they too, will be able to apply the principles of ‘Grind & Conquer’ to their own lives in order to be successful in all areas of life.

Roderick Lowe
Roderick is a stand-up comedian with a powerful story and a natural gift for turning real-life struggles into unforgettable laughs. Raised in the projects of North Carolina, Roderick grew up in the church, developed into a standout high school basketball player, and later served in the Army during wartime. Through every chapter of his life, humor became his survival tool.
Today, Roderick brings that same raw honesty and energy to the stage, mixing sharp storytelling, Southern charm, military experiences, family memories, and everyday struggles into comedy that audiences instantly connect with. His style is authentic, relatable, motivational, and hilarious — proving that pain and laughter can come from the same place.
